Recently we’ve found out that Birdview Projects does not work properly if FastestChrome extension for Google Chrome is installed. The pink error bar appears while switching between screens or performing other actions. Aside from this, it does not interfere with Birdview Projects operation.
Our research revealed that the problem is caused by the code downloaded from Superfish.com. The site offers “advanced visual search technology focused on products”. They have separate browser extensions (for Chrome as well), and this search functionality is included into other extensions, like FastestChrome.
Luckily, Superfish functionality can be disabled in the FastestChrome. Just go to Chrome settings, then choose “Settings”, “Extensions”, locate “FastestChrome – Browse Faster” and click “Options link”:
A FastestChrome settings window appears. Locate “Add Similar Product Search (Superfish)” option and uncheck it.
Reload the Birdview Projects page and whoopee! No annoying error.
